The people behind the Books.
Wayleave does not have a staff list, an associate pool or an offshore data team. It has the people on this page, and every Book carries their name. The first is the person who built the method.

Will Escott Hammond
Will has spent his career on both sides of the transaction. As part of a three-person private equity team he was critical in building inorganically a nursery buy-and-build platform from inception to the UK's third-largest Early Years Education provider and a £178m exit, sourcing acquisitions off-market, developing highly predictive algorithms that were used to underwrite additional leverage with institutional lenders, and building the analytical tools the investment committee used to decide where to buy next.
He has since led financial workstreams through institutional sale processes, run finance for a leading cybersecurity company, and been brought in by sponsors when a transaction becomes complicated. He started and ran his own businesses before any of it, including a biotechnology company with international operations and, at 27, a micro-cap acquisition vehicle whose first deal he sourced, structured, financed, negotiated and executed himself.
Wayleave is that career productised: the off-market sourcing, the ownership tracing and the analytical tooling, built into a platform he runs himself. Every Book is his work, and he is in the room from the first conversation to signed heads.
Bring us a market.
Tell us the market and the acquisition profile and we will tell you the size of the universe before you commit to anything. The first conversation is about whether the market is worth the work.
